Enerdatics Webinar: Renewables M&A Outlook 2027, Live on 27 October

Enerdatics has recorded 537 renewables M&A transactions across North America and Europe in the nine months to mid October 2026. Read together, they point somewhere specific for next year. On Tuesday 27 October, Mohit Kaul and Kshitij NR will set out where.

Two sessions run on the same day and they cover different markets. The European session looks at Europe, the US session looks at the United States. Register for the European session or register for the US session.

What each session covers

Both sessions put the same four questions to their own market, the European session to Europe and the US session to the United States.

  • 2027 M&A: the top buyer groups and the prices they are paying
  • The asset profiles that will be most in demand
  • Where private equity funds are heading in 2027
  • Where activity and valuations are heading

Each theme is drawn from transaction level data rather than sentiment, and the 45 minutes combine that data-driven view of the market with perspectives and commentary from investors and developers active in it.

What attendees receive

Everyone who attends gets a complimentary copy of the Renewables M&A Insights and Outlook Report Q3 2026. The report is included with registration for both the European and the US session.

Who is presenting

Mohit Kaul, Founder and CEO at Enerdatics, and Kshitij NR, Head of Research at Enerdatics.

Why this outlook, and why now

The shape of that deal flow is uneven. Enerdatics records 398 of those transactions in Europe against 139 in North America, so on a transaction count basis Europe has run at close to three times the North American pace, even though North America has carried the larger disclosed value. Enerdatics' H1 2026 analysis found private equity behind around 65 percent of North American acquisitions and roughly half of European ones, with about 80 percent of deal volume targeting advanced stage, near COD and operating assets. Those are the conditions that set pricing going into 2027, and they are what the session unpacks.

The outlook builds on Enerdatics' H1 2026 Renewables M&A Outlook, which tracked $64 billion of global deal value and set out per MW valuation benchmarks by stage and region. The webinar carries that work forward into 2027 and focuses it on North America and Europe.
